Top 50 Hits Of 2016
Before I post this I just have to quickly address the issues with this year's broadcast. Everything was going normally until little past the hour mark when the countdown went to commercial after #38 and 100.3 oddly decided to play "Me And My Gang". For a few minutes I was afraid it was 2008 all over again. Thankfully the countdown resumed with #37 immediately after the song but that was nothing compared to what happened next. After #34, the countdown again went to commercial and came back with #32. That's right, #33 was skipped! I wasn't sure if Bob had made an error if I'd somehow missed a song. And that threw my count off for the remainder of the show. On top of that, 100.3 would later play "International Harvester" and "You Look Good In My Shirt" during later commercial breaks. This morning I checked the replay on the website and sure enough, #33 DID get skipped in the broadcast, but the posted chart has it listed. Therefore, without further ado, away we go!
